Muddy surfaces
of the earth's bronze skin
swim in the rain.
Smell the wet grass
after its morning shower.
Sunlight's smile
pierces each cloud
of marshmallow white wonder.
Bathe in the yellow mustard
of our morning star.
Swim in the breeze
that rushes through
noons of summer's wake.
Winds like the mother earth's
restless sigh of midday.
Do we deserve such wonder?
